ERYONE ABS CF is an ABS filament reinforced with carbon fibers designed for demanding functional and industrial applications. It combines the properties of classic ABS (strength, temperature resistance, machinability) with the advantages of carbon fibers – higher rigidity, dimensional stability and a premium matte surface.

Thanks to reduced warping and optimized printing parameters, it is suitable for parts under mechanical load, jigs, electronics enclosures, mounts, structural components and small series production.

For maximum service life and surface quality, it is recommended to use a hardened steel nozzle, because carbon fibers are abrasive and can quickly wear out a brass nozzle.

Printing recommendations

Specific values may vary slightly depending on the printer, airflow and model size. Treat them as starting settings.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 240–280 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 90–110 °C
• Print speed: approximately 30–100 mm/s
• Cooling fan: rather low or off, only slight cooling for overhangs
• Enclosure / printer cover: recommended for larger parts (ABS is sensitive to drafts and rapid cooling)
• Build plate: PEI, glass with a suitable adhesion aid (glue stick, ABS/ASA juice, etc.)

Before printing it is recommended to dry the filament (e.g. 3–4 hours at approx. 60 °C) to minimize bubbles, popping and to improve surface appearance.

Safety and environment

ABS and especially filled ABS (ABS CF) can release fumes and particles during printing, therefore:

• print in a well-ventilated area or in an enclosed printer with filtration
• avoid long-term inhalation of fumes
• air out the room after printing
