Thanks to its improved toughness, Ultra Silk PLA from ERYONE is more resistant to cracking than standard PLA, while maintaining its ease of printing. The filament is precisely wound on the spool and vacuum-packed to be protected from moisture and impurities.

Printing recommendations

• Nozzle temperature: 190–220 °C
  – start around 205–210 °C and fine-tune according to the printer and speed.
• Bed temperature: 55–70 °C
  – 60 °C usually works well for good adhesion.
• Print speed: 30–60 mm/s
  – for the best gloss, use lower speeds (30–40 mm/s).
• Cooling fan: 80–100 % after the first layers.
• Build surface: glass, PEI, textured sheets, adhesive foils, or tape; when higher adhesion is needed, you can use glue / spray.

Before printing, we recommend drying the filament (e.g. 50 °C for 3–4 hours in a filament dryer or an oven with precise temperature control), especially if it has been open for a longer time – this ensures a maximally smooth surface without blisters.

Tips for achieving the best appearance

• Print rather slowly (30–40 mm/s) for a smoother surface and deeper gloss.
• Increase the number of perimeters (e.g. 3–4) and infill for models that will be polished or lightly machined.
• Orient the model on the bed so that light falls across the layers – this enhances the silky effect.
• Use fine layers (0,12–0,20 mm) for a maximally smooth appearance of details.
