Product description

ERYONE PP CF – lightweight, rigid, and chemically resistant composite

Carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP‑CF) combines the low density of PP with the stiffness and strength of carbon fibers. The result is durable yet lightweight prints with lower warping tendency – excellent for industrial prototypes and functional parts.

Why choose this filament

  • 20% carbon fiber for significantly higher stiffness and strength.
  • Low density (0.95–1.01 g/cm³) – lightweight parts without losing durability.
  • High chemical resistance and good thermal stability.
  • Easier to print than pure PP with proper bed preparation (PP glue recommended) and an enclosed printer.
  • Tensile strength up to ~50 MPa (XY) and tensile modulus ~1.3–1.7 GPa.

Recommended print settings

  • Nozzle: 220–240 °C
  • Bed: 60–80 °C
  • Speed: 30–100 mm/s
  • Environment: enclosed recommended (enclosure)
  • Build surface: glass / PEI / spring steel + special PP glue
  • Drying: usually not needed; if the filament absorbed moisture, 50–60 °C for 8 h

Tip: Carbon fibers are abrasive – for long-term printing, a hardened nozzle is recommended.
